Each of Springfield's eight wards elects a Ward Democratic Committee every four years on the Democratic Primary Ballot. Up to 35 members can be elected. Ward Committees work to support Democratic candidates at the local level and serve as a platform for advocacy on on local, statewide, and national issues.
